Summary

After numerous requests we are back with two more Haudenosaunee animal tales. In the first Turtle leads a war party of misfit animals against Huk-sah, the Jungie. In the second Brown Owl and Weasel are featured in a dark story of revenge kindercide.

0:29.6	And welcome to our sixth installment on Hodi Nishone Legends.
0:34.0	Andrew, we've been being bugged for a long time to do another one of these.
0:37.1	We have, actually. A lot of people have written in. But what is our first tale about today, Caleb?
0:42.6	Well, Andrew, we all have callings in life, don't we? Some of us are naturally better at other things.
0:48.2	Like me, for example, I'm very good at radio and podcasting, and you're very good at editing and things like that.
0:55.9	Lots of time, people that aren't good at things want to do them because they feel like
1:00.1	there's some honor in it or something like that.
1:02.4	You know, they want to be the guy out in front.
1:04.8	They say that a good leader is a good follower, but nobody wants to be a follower.
1:09.0	Everybody wants to be a good leader.
1:10.2	So this first
1:11.3	story covers an animal who has many gifts, but leading an army is not one of them.
1:24.6	A very long time ago, there was a very scummy lake.
1:30.3	Floating on top of that lake was a log, completely covered in moss.
1:35.3	And on that log sat turtle. He sat there with his neck and legs stretched out and was
1:41.3	soaking up every bit of sunlight that he could.
1:44.9	He was not able to relax for long, however, as his peace was soon interrupted with a loud hoot.
1:52.3	Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-ho-o.
1:56.0	Turtle is a coward. He is no warrior. He has never led any war party to victory. He is a coward,
