successful political blog, The Conservative Edge, and he's a big primal fan and it's changed his

life, and we've bonded over that. He also has a great podcast called The Disruption Zone. Welcome to the

show. Hey, Al, how are you? It's good to talk to you. You too. So, you know, Brad Kearns and I have been on your show, and I know over these years you've had your own journey with primal, paleo, ancestral living, and you're a huge fan, and you talk about it a lot. And I wanted to bring you on and share your experience. Can you tell us, first of all, I'd love to hear, before we get in

the health stuff, I'd love to hear, I think it's always interesting when people end up on a radio

and have their own radio show, which is super cool. How did that happen?

Oh, my guess, you know, it's funny. Most of the great things that have happened in my life are by

accident, totally. You know, I went to school and I got a communications degree, but I had no desire whatsoever to be on the microphone at the time until I kind of got a taste of it.

And then I was like, ooh, this is fun. I kind of like it. But as far as doing the type of show I'm doing now, I used to do sports almost exclusively. I did play by play for a couple of college teams. And I was working kind of part

time doing sports casts for a radio station. And they came to me and said, have you ever done

political talk or in the lifestyle talk, I guess, is what it would be called? And they were like,

and I was like, no, I never have. And they're like, do you want to?
