So very interesting book, very detailed. I took some notes on some points I'd like to kind of

take you through, things you've mentioned. But first I want to start

off with what led you to write a book about this? Was there, what was your personal experience

with communication that piqued your interest here? Yeah. So personally, I started meditating

when I was quite young. I was about 19 and my life was falling apart the way that can happen in your late teens and early 20s. You know, just kind of ordinary young adult angst and stuff. And so, you know, I was seeking some some clarity, some relief from emotional pain, kind of just getting direction in life. And what I found after a few

years of meditating was that even though I was having pretty meaningful experiences inwardly,

while my eyes were shut and I was sitting alone by myself, as soon as I opened my mouth or

had a disagreement with a colleague or a coworker,

forget about family, it all went out the window. So, you know, so I realized, you know, this

meditation is, is only as good as it is in my daily life. You know, I need to be able to use
