I was teaching swimming lessons, you know, like in my late teens or early 20s.

And there was a baby possum in the pool and I thought yeah I could get him

out but if I get him out you know is he going to turn on me is he not and so I

just think it was better to kill this possum.

The woman whose voice you're hearing has been diagnosed as a sociopath.

Her name, where she lives, we won't learn those things today.

I just did what I thought was, you know, safest for me or like most expedient, right?

So I try to drown it by like turning a hose on him, you know?

I try for like, you know, five, seven minutes or something and fail, you know, the animal keeps surviving. I'm not able to drown it.

So then I just, you know, say, okay, I don't care. You know, I'll just cancel the lessons for today and then I'll just go to the beach or whatever instead.

It's easy for me, honestly. It's easy not to let things affect me emotionally.
