Oh man.

So, I am of average height for a man. I'm on the thinner side. So when you pass me on the street, the only thing you see is a skinny white dude. I mean you wouldn't even notice me, like I am so

unnoticeable. But what I think about when I walk by people on the street, even now.

Do they know?

Can they clock me?

Clocking is a term used in the transgender community that means identifying someone as

trans and it's a word today's guest thinks about a lot.

My name is Sarah Kaye, and this is Sincerely X from Ted. In each episode of the show, we hear a story from an anonymous person who

helps us give light to ideas we might never hear otherwise. Today, our anonymous guest is a man from the American South,

and if you met him, that's what your impression would be too.
