Hi guys. Welcome or welcome back to the podcast. I'm Maddie. Unfortunately, well, fortunately or unfortunately, I'm not sure how you feel about this, but Lauren is not with me today. You just have me. It's a solo episode. And this is the second solo episode I've done ever, which is kind of crazy.

The first one was hard because I was talking about like a specific topic.

Today I'm just going to give you a life update, answer some questions, do a little chatty

Q&A episodes.

So I think it's going to be a little bit less pressure.

But both times I recorded solo episodes last time and this time.

It's because it's been out of necessity.

So we had some serious technical difficulties this week.

Basically, I went to go and edit the episode for this Friday, normally we post on Fridays,

and I noticed that Lauren didn't have any audio in her track. And it sucks because

we recorded a bunch of episodes on the same day because I guess I have to back up and tell you that I'm in

Toronto. Lauren's in LA still. But we had batch recorded because I knew I was coming here. And I knew

it was going to be here for a little bit. We want to avoid recording remotely because it's really not the same.

And yeah, so we have no episodes batched at this point because her audio was off in every single one.

So that's great.

It was honestly really annoying.

But I think we figured it out.

I think I'm going to record this one alone, maybe one with my dad while I'm here

because he's here as well. And then Lauren might record with one of her USC friends for one of the

upcoming weeks, just depending on how long I'm in Toronto for. So I guess I should tell

you that story and explain why I'm in Toronto. The last time I was here was September 2021.

So I've left almost two years ago, which is seriously so crazy.
