Why is it that when the people that we love leave, we still feel attached to them?

For some reason, no matter how much harm they've done, no matter how much damage they've caused,

no matter break they have done to our heart, we have a hard time letting go.

And I like to think that's because we never got closure.

And sometimes breakups aren't like a two plus two situation. Sometimes they're a little bit

more difficult, especially when you just wake up one day and somebody's like,

no, I don't love you anymore. That's a hard thing to deal with.

And I get that. And I'll be honest with you, I've been on both sides of that.

I've woken up and be like, I just had a realization that this is not my life.

This is not the path that I want to be on. And the person that I thought that was, you know,

my all was somebody that I wasn't supposed to be on a path with.
