Let's begin with the bad stuff to get out of the way.

We're going to talk a little bit about that early part of the season because last

episode, Monday, rather, I talked about how good it was during

that stretch run of January. We should also talk about the not so great parts, including, you know,

this first stretch of the season in which Nicola Yoke has just seemed completely checked out.

Now, all was funny is if we go back, at the end of November, the first month and a half of the NBA season,

at the end of November, the Denver Nuggets were 13 and 4 following an overtime loss to the Kings.

If I had told you three years ago that the Nuggets were going to be 13 and 4 at the end of

November, you would have been absolutely ecstatic.

And yet nothing ever seemed right during the stretch.

It was a very confusing time for Denver.

There were a lot of home games, and there were a lot of home wins in there, and there were

great quality wins, one of which we'll talk about in the second segment

but you also had the loss of the hawks in there which treye young went absolutely berserk you had the loss of the pelicans the loss the mavericks the loss of the kings and those are the four losses that comprise it you also had a nail-biter overtime win versus the suns that looked good at the time because the suns were hot at that point but over time that doesn't look quite as good you had a nail-biter

win at on the road versus the magic they had to pull away you had a win at home versus the

heat who were really banged up at that point you had a win versus the sixers uh in which they

were without Ben Simmons.

You had the Minnesota Timberwolves win in which they had to come from behind

and Yoko Chaita hit one of his game winners from the season.

You had the win versus the Grizzlies in which they were, they played pretty well and comfortably

and won 131, 114.

So that was like a quality win.
