So a real quick announcement about something going on with

Apple right now. They have recently announced that they will be taking a 30%

cut on all patron support that is purchased through the Patreon app that is in the Apple

App Store and that 30% is on top of the cut that patron already takes. This is

going to roll out on November 1st. on subscribed and continues to be subscribed, it is just if you sign up after November 1st.

So it won't apply to those of you currently subscribe to crime lines or any other

podcast through the Patreon app unless you suspend your service and then have to

re-sign up. There are two ways to get around this fee

for those who do use the Patreon app on their iPhone.

One is to sign up before November 1st

for any podcast or graders you've been thinking about supporting.

The second way around it is that as of right now this will not apply to purchases

processed through the Patreon website. So if you go to the Patreon website.

So if you go to the Patreon website and sign up there,

you can then bypass the Apple billing fee entirely

and then still log on to your account in the app.
