Before we talk about the new protest you're planning,

why don't you each take a minute or so

to introduce yourselves to my audience

and maybe share a little bit about what moved you to get in the fight for Medicare for all.

Shrief, why don't we start with you?

Okay, yeah, I've told this story several times before but I never have a problem telling it again.

So I'm new to activism. I actually got into activism because Bernie Sanders, believe it or not.

When he dropped out of the race and said now it's at the time for Medicare for all,

that opened my eyes like so many others,

said there was a problem here.

Like, if Bernie Sanders was quitting

and saying now to the time for Medicare for all

during a global pandemic, that's a problem.

But I didn't, I didn't initially say okay tomorrow I'm going to jump out and be an activist you know during the summer of last year. I say home with my kids a a social distance, you know I watch you know plenty of
