thunder of our conversation, but to give our audience a background, Matt won a national title while Clackamas Community College before attending the

University of Nebraska, where he went 33 and won his senior year and won the Big Eight title.

Matt wrestled freestyle and Greco Roman before focusing on Greco Roman for the 2000 Summer Olympics

where he won the silver medal. His first UFC match was UFC 29. Matt has also coached the U.S. national wrestling team at the 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
