This week is SOLO style and we're talking all things meditation.

Meditation is something I've done consistently for a decade now. The methods and routines I've used in that time have changed as much as the wind, but I have finally found my bread and butter of meditation. This episode is explaining my process and the story behind how it all started for me.

The meditation practice that I've landed on is what I go back to time after time, because it just works. It's simple. It's doable. It's straight to the point.

The music that I listen do during prayer and meditation that I referenced in this specific episode is called, Above and Beyond: Flow State.

times and it's been the best thing I've ever done at times. There's also been a lot of times where it's been the best thing I've ever done at times.

There's also been a lot of times where it's nothing but just a simple habit that I choose to continue

1:19.0

where I see like nothing, like no progress at all day to day but I can tell you that the change

1:25.6

accumulated up over the last nine years of my meditating daily is pretty

significant and that I mean I think that's putting it mildly.

1:34.9

And I think right off the bat, I need to explain the vocabulary I use when I talk about meditation.

Because words, my friends, words are powerful

1:48.8

and words are charged.

1:51.4

Words hold personal attachments. And I'm not talking about my attachments, I am talking about yours.

1:58.4

Words hold attachments. They're attached to personal resentments or personal experiences.

2:04.0

Words create connection and words create conflict.

Like words have the power to turn you on or off and they hold the power to draw lines in the sand and they lead us to make snap judgments like so I think we have to do a little practice. So right now I want you to think. I want you to like close your eyes.

2:27.0

Think on how you feel when I say this word. So how do you feel when I say the word Trump?

2:34.3

What did you just think of?
