On today’s podcast I had my good buddy Steve Trang! For those of you that don’t know Steve, he is a real estate investor, brokerage owner, sale’s trainer, and serial entrepreneur! We actually use his sales training at my company Home Run Offer and I wanted to have him on to talk about sales and how people can start learning to be better sales people to get more deals in real estate. I also realized that sales applies to everything you do in life. We talked about this as the conversation went on about social media and how people are always selling something when creating content. It’s just a matter of how well you can disguise it! The best marketers are the ones you don’t even realize are marketing to you.
We also go over how it was for it was for him growing up in an Asian household, and telling his parents that he didn’t want to be an engineer. We discuss how he had to tell his parents how he was going to leave these jobs at Intel and other software companies to go do his own thing pursuing real estate and just other family troubles.
Lastly, and probably my favorite part, is when we talked about what it was like on his journey. After 9 years in, he finally found what the best use of his skills were and how he got into podcasting, and eventually doing sales training. I think it’s a great reminder for anyone who is currently trying to figure out what they want to do, that you can be successful in anything! It’s just the matter of figuring out what is the best use of your skill set. So, this podcast is great for anyone trying to figure that out as well as those wanting to get better at making deals!
