Hello, friends, and welcome to this my very first minisode.

I decided to create these spooky little snacks to tide you over till I'm done with the longer episodes that I've been posting every other Monday.

Look at me, being glamorously presumptuous about how much time I have in a week.

We'll see how these go.

For these episodes, minisodes, minisodes of your nightmares.

I will be reading for you some of the weirder, bloodier, murderier, shorter articles from the Illustrated Police News, Law Courts, and Record from the 1800s that I have trouble fitting into the larger episodes.

They're all just as fun.

They're just kind of like puzzle pieces your brother cut one of the little bits off of.

Like, they should fit, but they don't quite.

If you're unfamiliar with this Victorian publication,

it was a morbidly bonkers tabloid-like newspaper

with absolutely amazing illustrations,

and I share those on my Instagram at My Victoria Nightmare.

Okay, I don't have quite enough time to research these minisode articles as in depth

as I do for the longer episodes, but for some of them I will dive in at least a bit because again,

these articles are wild. These first few short articles exist under the headline,
