Enough folks survived last week's carnage to facilitate a second week of this year's contest and week two takes us on a crazy train around the world once again.

Now when it's ninth year, the miscripted contest is an annual celebration of cryptozoology, folklore and mythology with the added bonus of a knockdown dragout competition decided by you, the listener.

In the second week of competition for twenty twenty one, we have another international salad bar packed with fresh fiends and electable degenerates.

We'll begin our journey in ancient Persia with the Carcadon. From there we'll ask Cargo to France for the unique and deadly Lucar Cole.

That's the business out of the way now. Let's get some party going. We start way back in ancient Persia and India with a familiar looking beast known as the Carcadon.

A terrifying beast from Persian lore and Persian history, the Carcadon is deadly not only to humans, but also elephants and itself.

The earliest mention of the Carcadon comes from the ninth century scholar, Al-Jaheez, in his book of animals, an illustrated guide to beasts and their anatomy.

It was only briefly mentioned though, and most sources about the Carcadon trace its main description back to Persian scholar and polymath Abu Raihan al-Bharuni in the early 11th century. His account follows.

It is of the build of the buffalo, but taller and short in the leg. The skin is smooth, not hairy, but scaling, made of scales raised from the epidermis and the chest, with due lapse on both cheeks.
