As always, today I've got my partner in crime, the CEO of all of John Maxwell's companies,

Mark Cole.

And what we're going to do today is the same thing we've done in the last couple episodes,

which is to talk about this painful subject called blind spots.

So we're going to join John for just a few minutes and we're going to start talking about

what the most common blind spots are that we wrestle with.

And then Mark and I are going to chew on that a little bit afterwards to help you give

some practical application for your business.

When Larry Stevens emailed me, this wonderful kind of thought-provoking subject, I did spend

a couple of weeks just thinking about leaders that I know that have been tripped up or messed

up or have in some context not done well and all of a sudden everybody kind of did this

turnaround and kind of this what happened to them, what did they do?

And I begin to ask myself, is there a commonality of blind spots?

They're individual but can we just say that for leaders there are certain areas that

a lot of leaders have blind spots in and I probably to identify some of them and I'm going

to give them to you now.

Interestingly enough, the first one I give you I think almost always is the main one,

but I've never heard anybody talk about it before.

Let's talk about it.
