Okay let's go to the fourth blind spot of many leaders and ego out of control.

I wrote kind of a mentoring book for leaders to mentor themselves and others.

The books called Leadership Gold it's a little bit biographical.

Short chapters of lessons I just learned as a leader anyway.

One of the chapters is entitled Pride is the leader's greatest enemy.

And it's a chapter basically telling leaders that the greatest enemy they have is going

to be their own ego, their own pride issues.

And John Ruskin was exactly right when he said pride is at the bottom of all great mistakes.

That philosopher was right on.
