about just releases as a whole this year? And what are you looking forward to the most?

I've liked a lot of low-key releases. I felt like, especially in the first quarter and second

quarter, there was this sort of excitement coming into the new year based on what we

didn't get in 2023, right? And going into this new year, there was hopes of, you know, maybe a new

album from Jay Cole, maybe, you know, finally seeing Playboy Cardi drop I.M. Music, finally maybe

seeing a return for Kendrick Lamar after a 2022 year. Like, there was so much

anticipation for big dogs to come in and assert their dominance. And I feel like there was a bit

of that, especially at the beginning of the year, right? I feel like Future had a stellar year.

As far as releases go, he had two studio albums drop, well, technically a third, but it was marketed as a mixtape.

But I just feel like regardless of maybe some quality issues on the second and a third release,

it was nice to see him come in and feed his fans, especially Metro Boomin coming into 2024 and having a big year as well,

having two studio albums attached with future i do feel like they

did a great job also having some people make a return right like looking at schoolboy cue um something
