Summary

Ron and Kevin Chlor grew up about two hours outside Chicago in the Rockford area of Northern Illinois.

When Kevin was born, I was seven years old, and we were pretty close.

But then, once I hit those teenage years, he was the little kid who was kind of in my way.

You know, he's your younger brother, but once Kevin went through his teens, we became very close again.

That was about the time he came out that he was gay.

Kevin first came out to my mom. He was 15. He was living with her at the time.

She was very open, very accepting, and then he came out to me and my wife shortly after he came out to my mom.
