On this episode of Black Girl Gone, I tell the story of Felicia Barnes, a sixteen-year-old

Felicia Barnes was born on January 12th, 1994, and was raised in Monroe, North Carolina by her mom,

Janice. Felicia was a bright child from an early age and excelled academically.

In Monroe, she intended Walter Bigot Elementary, where she ended up skipping third grade,
