Desert winds swept across the Nevada landscape on a December morning in 2005.

Local authorities discovered a burned-out jaguar, its metal frame, still radiating heat

in the cool air.

Inside the vehicle lay evidence of something far more sinister than a simple car fire.

The body of a young woman was discovered

in the trunk, burned beyond recognition. Her size matched Kelly Ryan, the registered owner of the

vehicle, and investigators noted her as the most likely victim. They went to the address listed

on the vehicle registration, and when they knocked on the door,

they were greeted by Kelly herself.

They realized them that not only did they have a murder mystery to solve,

but they had to start by finding out who exactly it was in the trunk of the car.

Music This is Monsters. Craig Titus was born on January 14, 1967 in Wyandotte, Michigan.

He was the oldest of three children born to Michael and Sandra Titus. He grew up predominantly in Riverview, just south of Detroit. He played football in high school, but eventually joined the

wrestling team and loved the sport. He began lifting weights in high school, but couldn't build

too much muscle because he needed to stay within his wrestling weight class.

Once he graduated, he knew he wanted to become a bodybuilder. Of course, that isn't something you

could immediately make a living from, so Craig started working for his father's underground excavation

company. Michael Titus was a third-generation tunneller, creating storm drains,

subways, and sewer systems. During the six years, Craig worked in construction out of high school,

he had two children with an unknown woman. He had a daughter in 1988 and a son the following year.
