All Saints and John Vervetos. Allsense was founded in 1994 here in London. John Vervetos is a New York based brand, founded in New York just over 20 years ago.

We've got a team of around 2,300 people in 20 countries around the world.

And, you know, the average age of our team is something like 25. So we have amazing

energy in our team and I really love my team and love the brands that I have the privilege

of leading and I'm delighted to be sitting here with Jack today. And I've never done a live podcast before so I'm a

little bit nervous so hopefully I'll get on okay but very nice to be here with Jack

who's a real inspiration well Peter I just want to say that introduction was

spot-on and like every guest we've introduced this recently I only gave you

literally 10 seconds

beforehand.

And I see you thinking, what do I say?

But that was absolutely amazing.

I always start here because I think it's so important to start on context.

And that context I want to kind of focus on right now is what was your first paying job that earned you a bit of money?

Yeah.

What did you learn from that job?

And what did you, what would you like to share with everyone listening today?

Yeah, so the first job I ever had was I was a paper boy. So I had a paper round in the village where I grew up just outside Glasgow.

And I can still remember that I was earning nine pounds a week doing that job.

And I was up, it was a Monday to Saturday job.

I would be up at kind of 6.30 every morning up to the post office
