Hey everyone and welcome to this episode of the Happy Hour Podcast.

I'm your host, Gretchen Garrity, and this week I have so much to say right now.

We have a lot going on, okay? I am in Boston right now recording this.

This is not my typical setup, so I should warn you right here now.

If you hear my creaky office chair, if you hear people talking, if you hear city noises like a second ago,

I felt like I could hear the highway. So, like, the car is going by so loud, or if like the air kicks on, just bear with me.

Okay? I think I used to be a psycho about needing to be like so, so, so quiet when I would record,

and I wouldn't even want like Max and Brody to be home. Like I wanted to be like fully alone, like in the dead quiet, you know?

But then I would always freak out about it, and I would get DMs from you guys being like, no honestly, it's funny if we hear Brody like moving around,

or like noises like that, like you guys get it, do you get my setup? It's honestly probably kind of cute if you hear like

Lucy in the back or something like you know who I'm with. Okay, see that's the air kicking on.

But I think we're okay. Okay, so this episode is my monthly favorites shout out page.

I got a DM from a girl named Paige, and this is her idea. I love when you guys DM me your ideas for podcast episodes,

like literally what you want to hear, and I obviously just want to talk about what you want to hear about.

So I thought this was such a cute idea. I don't know if I have done like a monthly favorite, maybe I've done like current favorites or something,

but I just thought that was like a really good idea. We're going to talk about beauty, clothes, food, activities, etc.

I think I kind of put a lot of different things under the activities category, but like workouts, hobbies, stuff like that.

So I just thought that would be fun. And obviously it's the beginning of March right now.

So this is kind of like January and February. So monthly January and February combined. I don't know.

I thought it was really cute. She wrote, she wrote, I think it would be such a fun way of keeping track of your 2023 goals,

sharing all the fun things you've discovered each month. So I thought that was really cute too, because I have had so many goals I have had.

I made so many goals for 2023, and I'm like scared to look back. I'm like, I'm sticking with it. I think I'm slipping on a number of things, but I need to get back on track.
