Hi everybody and welcome back to hot of the mess. I'm your host Samantha Bush and I'm

so fucking excited to be back in the mic. It is Friday. We've made it through the week.

I don't know how we did it. It feels like this week has been just a lot going on. You

know the submersible has just really taken over the minds and hearts of the world. You know,

we've been following that thing down to the fucking minute. We have some updates there. I have a

very interesting story I do want to share. I don't know if many people know about it. So I'm

excited to get into that. Of course, I'm going to be talking about rehauses of Orange County,

my newfound love of Emily Simpson. You know, the use, the ramblings, the nonsense we're here.

And if you hear Barbara in the back, my apologies. She's been so chatty today. Not just today,

every day. And I had to, you know, I usually have to lock her out now because she climbs on my

desk. She rubs her face on the mic. It's like this whole thing. She knocks things over. It's a mess.

But, you know, I don't like locking her out because then I feel bad. It's like a whole thing.

But I've had like such a productive morning. You guys, you have no idea. I took a group

of you to the groomer. I went to the grocery store. I got flowers for my apartment. They're

beautiful. They're P&E's pink and then like this deep purple. Very pretty. And, you know,

I'm channeling all of my anxiety of Ruby being dropped up at the groomers into this podcast

because I truly hate dropping her off at the groomer. It is one of the most stressful

anxiety inducing experiences for me because this is my baby. This is my angel. And I just get

worried that like I'm going to show up and like something bad will have happened to her. And I

don't know why. But so not to be like a loser. But when you first get a dog, like I feel like a

lot of people join the dog breeds like Facebook groups or like they like to do a lot of research

on like the dog breed. This is probably very normal. I don't know why I'm acting like this
