wrestling news and let's start things off with Ray Phoenix. Now, Phoenix has finally been let out

of his AW deal. That was a couple of weeks ago, a few weeks ago with Tony Khan granting him his release

after months of speculation. I mean, it felt like literally years of speculation that went

on for that longer. And of course, it's expected that Phoenix will end up in WWE. Now, stoking those fires even more,

Friday Smackdown aired a mystery vignette. Actually, it aired two mystery vignettes. But the first one of those

show a masked luchador, with many presuming that, yes, this is indeed hyphenia rival of Ray Phoenix.

Now, it's not been confirmed 100% that the vignettes that was for Ray Phoenix, but let's face it,

one has to imagine that, yes, there's a 99% chance that that vignette was indeed for Ray

Phoenix. Now, on the current status of Phoenix, Fightful Select has a bit of an update here.

The Phoenix is due

to complete his WWE medicals basically anytime now and the WWE has already begun working

on merchandise for Phoenix. So yes, Phoenix, the WWE is a done deal seemingly, well, I mean

barring anything cropping up in those medicals, but for me the bigger question is what do you

do with Ray Phoenix when he debuts? Do you re-team the luchy bros and have him tag him with his brother penta
