Hello and welcome to Under the Skin from Luminary. This week I spoke with Nicholas Glynos,

Vice President of the Student Association for Psychedelic Studies and Co-Founder of Psychedelic

Neuroscience and Therapy for the University of Michigan. His work is focused on DMT.

And if you've listened to that intro, you can hear he ain't even got a job yet because he's a

student, isn't he? We're basically talking to children now that it's on Under the Skin.

But this is a child with a real skill set. I'd go so far as to say because he's

experimenting in the world of DMT, which fascinates me in particular because if you believe as I do

that we need a new dimension to the way that we organise our systems, from where do we derive

this dimension other than our own consciousness? I don't think we're going to be, I don't think we're

able to settle for reorganising the deck chairs on the Titanic of contemporary culture.

I think we have to look at building in an entirely different vessel. That's why in addition to

talking to people that are academic experts in fields of politics and philosophy, I think it's

important that we start to examine consciousness itself. But that's just what I reckon.
