And this week, a whole range of issues came to the fore, not least of which, some very good news about something I was worried about last week.

There's a big church, about 200 metres away from me, and it's got a spired admittedly, but there's a large part of the building, and it's a grey slate roof and red coping tiles across the top.

Now, on top of the red coping tiles, there are 17 herringulls.

16 of them are facing south, one of them is facing north.
