Summary

What if being present matters more than proving yourself? Joel considered himself highly functional despite his drinking, but deep down, he struggled with shame and being fully present. After years of using alcohol to manage stress and pain, he chose to take back control. His loved ones celebrate his progress, but their encouragement sometimes feels like pressure. Meanwhile, Kari is a lifelong overachiever. Since joining The PATH, she has set big goals but worries she won’t reach them. In this episode, Coach Zoe helps Joel and Kari reconnect with their self-worth. Joel learns to set boundaries with loved ones, focus on his journey, and embrace where he is.
