That's been especially visible when we've seen protests around the war,

with Jewish voices on both sides.

What I'm seeing on campus, I think what a lot of us are seeing on campus,

are that young progressive Jews are saying,

you know what, we're not on board with supporting Israel.

And the Gen X and you know, even some of the millennial Jews are saying what are you guys talking about you know you're our kids or our siblings and we taught you to be committed to Israel and they're saying well no what you taught us was to believe that Judaism is committed to the values of social justice.

And that's what we take seriously.

And if we think Israel is incompatible with that, we are going to criticize Israel sometimes very severely.
