1:05.7	So let me catch you up to date on some news first.

1:11.2	So the first thing I want to do is share something with you and that's this.
1:15.8	So I got this in the mail yesterday from Penguin UK, from an editor Nick Skidmore who I've
1:22.7	been working with for several months.
1:25.3	And so this is the 50th anniversary version of Alexander Solzhenitsyn's Goulogarchipelago
1:33.1	in its abridged form, one volume abridged form which he approved.
1:39.3	It's also published on the centenary of his birth.
1:44.1	And I was invited to write a forward to it which I completed and which seemed to meet with
1:49.2	the satisfaction of the editors and also Solzhenitsyn's family.
1:53.9	It's about 500 pages long, which is much shorter than the original book which was about
2:00.9	1800 pages.
2:02.7	And Solzhenitsyn approved the abridgment.
