It's been a very eventful year for hip hop in 2024, but we didn't get too much of a chance to speak about other genres this year.

I mean, obviously there's certain audio episodes where we have spoken about other releases from different genres.

But in today's episode, we're going to be focusing on our favorite songs that are non-rap songs from this year.

So this could be an R&B song, a rock song,

a house song, whatever you want. Any genre of your choosing. It's about time that we do an

episode like this just because you don't really get to see the side of us that often when it

But let's get into this, bro.

I mean, just talk to me about what your listening habits were this year

when it came to music outside of hip-hop.

Well, I feel as I've been getting older, especially, you know, in my 20s, I've been exploring

so many different types of sounds. I mean, you know back then I was a big fan of electronic music.

You know, I'm a rock fan as well. We came up, you know, in our younger years, listening to a lot

of alternative rock, a lot of progressive rock, you know, med our younger years, listening to a lot of alternative rock, a lot of

progressive rock, you know, metal, like, you name it, we were listening to it. And of course,

once you got into high school, you hit that stride of like, well, now 99% of my rotation is hip-hop.

And I feel like that was maybe the case up until probably a year or two ago where I was like, this is great and I really enjoy it.

But at the same time, like, it's maybe jading my experience.
