Lou, I have to say this, I think it's really rare that the Grammys actually get her right.

Because when going and preparing for this episode, I decided to kind of take the approach of

going through every single category, kind of, you know, obviously for hip-hop and hip-hop songs

as a whole, and just kind of seeing who is nominated, who won, who did they snub?

And in my head, I'm like, have they ever really gotten this genre right?

And I think that they have had good categories in the past.

But at the same time, it's like you look at what's nominated and maybe you have like three good nominations.

But then you got another maybe like 15 shitty ones.

And then who ends up winning is probably just like a PR stunt.

And that's what we

want to talk about today is just songs that should have won Grammys. Lou and I's job here today is to,

I guess, serve justice for the hip-hop community. So even out the score, if you will. But I mean,

I want to say this is that like we often speak about how they get the nominations wrong. But

even when it comes down to the winners, you go we often speak about how they get the nominations wrong but even when

it comes down to the winners you go through a lot of these categories over the years and it's just

blatant mistake after mistake in terms of crowning the wrong track or album or artist whatever the

case may be um so yeah i mean that's kind of the same approach that I took going through different

years where I feel like there were some injustices. But I also took the approach of like, oh, wow,

like this artist never won a Grammy. Well, this should have been a song that won one for them.

You know what I mean? So I also looked at it that way too. I also went with the approach. You know,

the category that makes me laugh the most out of the hip hop ones is best melodic performance.
