So I had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Daniela Rous.

She is a roboticist and professor of electrical engineering and

computer science at MIT. She is the director of computer science and

artificial intelligence laboratory there and she's of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory there.

And she's also a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the American Academy of Arts and

Sciences, and she's a MacArthur Genius Fellow. She co-wrote

co-wrote with Gregory Moan a brand new book called The Heart and the

Chip, Our Bright future with robots.
