0:46.6 | Sure so day one is an organization based out of New York City and what we do is we partner with young people age 24 and under to end dating and |
0:54.9 | sexual violence through supportive services, community education and |
0:59.6 | leadership development and so what that means is in addition to things like legal services we |
1:04.8 | provide things like counseling we do a lot of community education in grade |
1:09.0 | schools middle schools and high schools and then we also partner with young people who've been directly affected by |
1:14.2 | dating abuse which can include forms of cyber harassment to take action in their |
1:19.3 | communities. And how would you define cyber harassment? Yeah, so when we talk about cyber harassment, |
1:24.3 | I think for me the root is around harassment. |
1:26.6 | And so harassment is, I think broadly talking about behavior |
1:30.3 | that is used to, well, to harass, to harm, to annoy, to alarm someone. |
1:34.8 | And so when you add cyber to it, it's the use of digital or online technologies |
1:39.5 | to perpetrate that harm, right? |
