we're on Part 12 of the Republic with Dr. Daniel O'Toole, who teaches this at the Hillsdale College.

And President Larry Arne on your screen right there is President of Hillisdale College. That's Dr. O'Toole.

That's Dr. Arne. So Dr. Arne, last week when we left off, you were saying the constant tension in this

book is that Plato says, is messaging, read all the way through the end. Well, we're now in

book six and we're holding up the philosopher king. It's not the end, but is it the top

of the book? Is it it the top of the book?

Is it the key point in the book?

I don't know.

I think Dan should answer that.

It's a very high point.

But the whole thing, until you understand the whole thing, you know, I mean, first of all, we establish, when we talk about these laws for king,

the fundamental political question is who should rule. And the answer in America is the one picked by those who are governed, right?
