Yeah, it's been stressful because, so, you know,

the first time I felt what the impact of not having control because of higher powers was in

Columbia, but I was too young to sort of like appreciate all the complexities of it, you know,

meaning that when I was living there, when I was in my, I was like 14, 15, in the late 80s, and before I moved here,

I was witnessing uncontrollable forces on a daily basis causing chaos, death, and destruction,

right? And there was nothing I could do about it and nothing anyone I knew

could do about it, right? So I did feel a sense of helplessness and hopelessness, but I wasn't in

charge of, you know, a family. I wasn't in charge of my own finance. You know, I was just seeing it

sort of as an observer. And then I moved up here and it felt like a big relief and all these things.

Okay. The second time was when the OJ trial. And you would think like, well, how does this affect me?

But it was just because, you know, I had this illusion of like, well, law and order, especially

in the United States. It's like consistent. And like if someone did something, they go to jail.

And to the point where when I saw the car chase, I thought, oh, that's weird. Oh, he must just go straight to jail.

Like in these cases, they must just send him straight to jail. And I watched the whole trial and I got

really depressed about it. And I think we've talked about this before. I also talked about it

with my therapist. But I think it was re kind of bringing up trauma around lack of control.
