All right, we'll just start right there.

This is the Bible.

And there's a book in here called John.

It's toward the end, and we're in John Chapter 17 17 and we're taking the better part of a

year and just go in verse by verse through the Gospel of John written by one of

Jesus nearest and dearest friends was there for all of Jesus life death burial ministry

resurrection all of it and what we're looking at in John chapter 17 is the last

days of Jesus he's right on the brink of going to the cross, suffering and dying.

This is the end of his life.

And when you're nearing the end of life, the things that you do are the most important things,

and the things that you talk about are the most important things and

what Jesus does he stops and he prays what is the longest recorded prayer that we have

of Jesus in all of human history and And it's three parts.

Last week we looked at how Jesus prays for himself.

This week he prays for Christians.

Next week he prays for non-christians.

The big idea is basically Jesus in this prayer,

praise for everybody because Jesus loves everybody and one of the

greatest surest quickest ways to build a relationship is to pray for one another
