First Peter chapter 1.

We began a series some weeks ago entitled Precious in His Site.

And our main text here in 1.1, 18, says, for as much as you know, you were not redeemed with

corruptible things.

I want you to know what you're not redeemed with.

Like silver

and gold. Silver and gold

is corruptible. It's

not permanent.

I says, well,

diamonds are forever.

Actually, they're not. Diamonds never.

Actually, they're not.

Diamonds can be evaporated.

And gold and silver and all the minerals on the planet.

One of these days, the elements of the very earth are going to melt with heat.

Somebody's talking about conjecture, about what's going to happen in the end.

It's in the back of the book.

It's there.

And so nothing down here is going to survive.
