So we're going to talk today about a very different aspect of the field of psychology and psychiatry.

We're going to talk about psychiatric hospitalizations and inpatient treatment and residential treatment. And this is really when you're

getting to the part where symptoms cannot be managed effectively on an outpatient basis. Someone may

have suicidal ideations or suicide attempt, homicidal ideations, self-injurious

behaviors to a point where it requires medical care.
