Fox. Hey, this is Terry. Thank you for joining us for a Thursday edition of our

podcast, which if memory serves me correctly would be Independence Day. I think that's right Mary

Langston am I correct? That's correct happy Independence Day all. Do you have

plans? Not at this point but I'm thinking probably some family time and some fireworks. What about you?

Well, I won't be doing fireworks because my dog can't stand them. I know. I always feel bad for the dogs and for the animals and for kids that don't like it.

But not bad enough not to do it. Well, I don't do it. I just sort of participate by watching watching it so I guess that is kind of doing it I don't know you

observed I have played in a golf tournament on July 4th probably for the last 30 years and with the same group.

And I have great memories of that, although it is also the day that Terry's father passed away.

So it's a mixture of emotions now on that day. When I was a kid on July the 4th, we had this competition where

they would put a watermelon in the deep end of the pool and it had grease all over it and whoever could

get the watermelon out, you know, you got 20 kids fighting over a greased watermelon and whoever could get it and hoisted out of the pool one and I remember that I was leading I had it in my hands

when my classmates jumped on my back. I really wouldn't thrilled about being in 12 feet of water to begin with.

So I lost control of the watermelon,

and I lost the contest.

I don't want anybody to think that I carry a

grudge or that I remember that I think I was 11 at the time but I usually spend most of my

July 4th just wishing bad things on the person that jumped on my back.
