Hi, Dr. Craig. I have a Trinity question inspired by your children's book, God is three persons.

0:19.8

In the book, nearing the end, you have the

0:21.9

following. Begin, quote. But then, what if they all disagreed with each other? said John. Papa laughed.

0:29.3

Don't worry. Remember, each of the persons who is God has all the qualities of God. Each is all

0:35.8

knowing, all powerful, and all good. So God the Father,

0:40.5

Son, and Holy Spirit always agree and act together in everything. End quote. My question is,

0:48.0

how do those qualities attributes of God necessitate that the three persons of the Godhead

0:53.9

must agree on everything.

0:57.0

I'm coming from this from a Baptist evangelical perspective. I agree strongly with Papa's

1:02.0

conclusion, but just seems odd to say that because they each know everything, including middle

1:07.0

knowledge, they each can do any logically possible thing in accordance with his character.

1:12.1

And they each are perfect in holiness. How does that mean they all must do the same action?

1:17.9

Could there not be multiple good things they could do and therefore could be divided?

1:22.7

Again, asking Perpapa's reply, not that I think they are actually divided in.

1:29.0

The Garden of Gethsemini may provide room for thought on this topic. Maybe it's because of Jesus's human nature,

1:35.5

but he in the moment would prefer another way, but ultimately wants the father's will, not his own.

1:42.4

Luke chapter 22, verse 42. I know this is a children's book,

1:46.6

so perhaps you just stated this idea at a high level, but any connecting the dots you can

1:50.9

provide for me would be helpful. Thanks and happy new year, Kevin United States.

1:57.4

Wow, I think this is the first time that I've gotten a question of the week on our children's brown bear and red goose books.

2:07.3

I'm glad that you're sharing them with your children, Kevin.

2:11.0

Your question shows how provocative these simple booklets can be for parents too.
