I think one of the main tensions that I feel as a follower of Jesus and a dad is where does that

balance come in when it comes to leading my family well? I don't want to be the guy who you just

go to church on Sunday and then there's no Jesus for the rest of the week. You know, you're just

like a one hour a week Jesus guy, but I also don't want to be the guy where if someone's like,

hey, what do you want for dinner to go like, well, you know what? I just feel like it might be a time

of spiritual fasting. And if we were so as much worried about the growth of Christ church as we

were about what we were having for dinner, I think we'd be in a much better place spiritually

in the American church. You know, where you're like, you just kind of Jesus chuked people and

you like always move things to spiritual matters all the time so that you can't really have a

rational conversation with those people. And I feel like with my kids too, like I want to
