But I am very happy to be joined by Benjamin Balthazar, Associate Professor of English.

And we are here to talk about basically what I would call Jewish anti-imperialism and perhaps anti-Zionism.

And we're talking about it, and then I'll throw it to Benjamin in a second.

And we're talking about it because Zik, this week is Pyrrm. So Khag Puraim Sameh, to everyone who

is celebrating. And Pirm's an interesting story for the Jewish left, and Ben, as Benjamin and I

were just talking about before the episode began.

So, yeah, as we were discussing about Perm a minute ago,

so on one of the whole, perm, is just a delightful holiday.

You know, you eat cookies, you dress up in costumes, you ring noise makers, and it's all very much fun.

But I think in recent years, you know, somebody who studies the history of the Jewish left and studies the history of anti-Zionism,

Perm has become a little bit fraught in the Jewish community, particularly the kind of Jewish left community, because it is a story of, well, Jewish vanquishing of our enemies.
