In front of me today, I have a document. A document that contains two lists. To be more specific,

0:09.5

two lists of New Year's resolutions, one from 2023 and one from 2024. I have my last two years of New Year's resolutions in front of me today,

0:23.8

and I'm going to react to them with you. Did I accomplish my New Year's resolutions? Did I

0:30.9

fail miserably? Did I fall somewhere in between? What can we learn from the past two years of my New Year's resolutions?

0:41.1

Now in hindsight, what can we learn about the concept of New Year's resolutions? What can we

0:47.0

learn about myself? What can we learn about the world? Today we're going to be looking at my New Year's resolutions for the past two years,

0:57.1

1:43.0

because it is the sign of a new year,

1:45.3

even for the hardest working person who is the most wrapped up in the daily minutia of

1:52.9

their life and work has to stop on New Year's and say, okay, we're opening a new page of our book.

2:00.6

This is a new chapter. And there's something about that

2:03.8

that can help even the most rigorously busy person reset and stop for a second and think about

2:14.2

what changes should be made in their lives. So I'm of the belief that we should all do

2:20.3

what works for us. I think New Year's resolutions are neither good nor bad. I used to kind of hate them.

2:25.5

I used to be a hater. I'm not anymore. I see the value in it. And for the last two years,

2:29.8

I was like, you know, let me just give it a try. And I will say, I wrote these resolutions in the
