podcast. I'm Gailin Drew and Vice President Harris just announced Tuesday

morning that she's chosen Minnesota Governor Tim Walls as her running me,

a choice that, like so much of what has happened in politics

this summer, was not on anyone's radar until it was.

Walls is a second-term governor, before which he represented Minnesota's first congressional

district for 12 years in Congress.

He was previously in the Army National Guard and was a social studies teacher and a football coach.

We'll get into a bit more of who he is, both in terms of biography and ideology.
