It's Wednesday, April 23rd. Hope y'all had a good day. Let's break down what happened today.

Back on the stand, Carrie Roberts. The Commonwealth asks who she went into Meadows with. That was Karen and Jen McCabe. She has seen the video of them

going into the home from that ring camera on John's property. It's overhead looking down.

And when they play the video, you see the three women get out of the two cars and they walk inside.

When they came out of John's, Karen pointed at the right tail light.

Karen asked, do you think I hit him?

Carrie said, what are you talking about?

Let's go find him.

She said a square piece of the taillight was missing

and a piece of metal was sticking out

and she thought somebody was going to end up

and catch their clothes on it.

They show a photo of the taillight on the screen there in the courtroom and she points out the metal part the sticking out.

How many times did Karen ask, do you think I hit him?

And the witness said Karen, said twice. Do you think I hit him?

The witness told Karen, I don't think you hit him, but you hit something.

Karen said the same thing at the scene after they found John.

Meadows to Fairview is maybe an eight-minute drive, and the witness was driving.

On the way there, there was the talk of Bella's mom who lived near Jen's sister.

The witness brought up maybe John went there if he was walking home. Karen was frantic in the car,

yelling, and she said you couldn't control her. She doesn't remember what Karen was yelling.
