Radio Mano, Papa Chango

Radio Mano, Hey, Chris. I just finished listening to the episode with Mark Jacoby as I am driving from Santa Fe to Crestone.

I am going through a weird time in my life.

I am separating from my husband.

It's messy.

And as part of, I guess, my own healing process, I decided to take some time off from having a permanent residence.

I chose not to get a new apartment or house and instead took advantage of the fact that I work remotely

and decided to just house it and couch surf

and go wherever I really feel like going.

So I just spent a couple days in Santa Fe.

I had never been there before. It was beautiful

and I'm very much looking forward to going to Crestone. I've never been there before. It was beautiful. And I'm very much looking forward to going to Crestone.

I've never been there either. It's all a grand adventure and I have no idea where this is going.

But thank you to you and Mark for making the drive feel less alone. Cheers.

Well, a few things that are cool about that.

I guess that evening, there was a poetry festival here in Crestone that I went to.

And at some point, a woman walked by and looked at me kind of funny and said, are you

Chris Ryan? And I said, yeah. And she said, oh, hey, I love your work. And I said, thank you. And

shook her hand and she left. Turns out that was her. So it's sort of a cool little premonition

thing where she sent that in and then we happen to run into each other a couple hours later

and the other cool thing about that is that I followed up with her
