Hello and welcome to Sociology 101 live stream. I was just sent this video, probably the last

hour or so, by Dr. Matt O'Reilly, who has a connection with me, actually. He is a professor of

theology at the Wesleyan, the Wesley Bible Seminary, but he's also

teaches theology at Houston Baptist University, which is a part of our Texas Baptist family.

And I, of course, as many of you already know, work with Texas Baptist at the denominational level.

And so was honored to find out that we have a connection in this way.

I put in the show notes a link to the video that I'm going to be reviewing,

and here's the reason I'm reviewing this video.

Several people have made comments over the last couple of years,

but just recently, one of my closest friends made this comment about why we only review videos with people we disagree with.

You know, he's asking that question.

And I, you know, my answer was, well, apologetics you're trying to, you know, counteract

something that's happening that's in the world that you disagree with.

And obviously you want to push back on, for example, Dr. James White, when he puts out world that you disagree with. And obviously you want to push back on,

for example, Dr. James White, when he puts out videos that I disagree with, that's a video I want

to critique or, you know, bring light to from the other perspective. Same thing with, you know,

Dr. Piper's daily broadcast and things that he does, many of which I agree with,

by the way, but there are some of which, obviously when he gets into the Calvinism issues,

that I take issue with.

And so when I saw this video today, I thought, well, this is a perfect opportunity for me

to highlight a video of another brother in Christ, a PhD nonetheless in the Texas Baptist

family, who works with Houston Baptist, as I said, who is teaching something that I thought
