too. Asop rock is the alias of Ian Matthias Babbitts, an American hip-hop recording artist and producer.

He's often referred to as indie rap or underground rap, and he's praised for his lyricism.

His lyrics are amazing, but in the past, I've been very abstract.

And on this album, for the first time, he was quite direct and gave us some quite personal lyrics,

which was quite a revelation for his fans.
