James Acaster here, comedian and music fan and in 2017 I had a breakdown.

I dealt with that breakdown by buying as much music from 2016 as I possibly could.

As a result, I now own over 700 albums that came out in 2016 and I'm

convinced it's the greatest year for music of all time. But it's not enough me being convinced.

I also want to convince each and every single one of you, plus a guest every week. I'm going to

send them an album in advance. They're going to come on the podcast with a talk about that album.

This week, my guest is Sakeza, and we're going to be talking about the Solange album, A Seat at the Table.

Because the last thing I want, I'm thinking at a time that I leave the board of now.

A Seat at the Table is one of the bigger albums of 2016.

It was critically acclaimed. Everyone went crazy for it.

But I feel that sometimes these days it gets forgotten about.

It was such a big album, such an amazing album, an immaculate album, I'd say.

I mean, in terms of like neo-soul and contemporary R&B. It's like craze in the sky.

Sometimes I don't want to fill those metal.

I can't find much better than this.

It also incorporates elements of funk all the way through.
